How the calendar is built
Holidays: New Year, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. A holiday on a Saturday moves to the Friday; on a Sunday it moves to the Monday.
Week 0 appears when 1 January falls on a weekend or holiday, so Week 1 always means the first real ship week. Weekend days still belong to their week, because product ships at weekends.

Create a cycle
A cycle is one round of loading. Everything imported into it is stamped with it, so any number can be traced back to the day it was loaded. One cycle is open at a time.
ROT — keep the territory master already loaded
Transactions — keep the revenue already loaded
Pipeline — keep the opportunities already loaded
Call activity — keep the visits already loaded
Tick anything you are carrying over. Everything left unticked has to be imported before the cycle can be published.

Only one cycle is open at a time, and it is the only one that accepts imports. Lock a cycle to stop anything more going into it. Reopen an older one if you need to add to it.

Advanced — replace a period instead of adding to it
Replace clears the matching data first, then loads the file.
Transactions clear the year and months you name. Call activity clears the date range the file covers.
Pipeline and ROT are a full picture each time, so replace clears all of them. Add keeps everything and layers the new file on top.
